Starting Anew

August 2022 is the start of many things. For one, this marks the start of another school year for the kids. Having 3 kids with 3 different schools is no joke. I just had 3 orientations and I might get anything mixed up. This month also is a wake up call to start writing again. I missed it so much so I working on my schedule to catch up with what I wanted to write about soon. 

I will fix my schedule so I can work efficiently. It will be very possible if I can manage my time well. I will write and take my calendar to heart. Follow the schedule and be consistent. 

That's just about it. I just have to write and publish this to get the ball rolling again. AJA!!! Time to MOVE! From my daughter, 'Not DREAM it But DO it! 

our family blog

Mabuhay... it has been sometime since I last wrote on this family blog. I have been wanting to edit it but time has been difficult. But things have changed now... I have added the whole fambam to write on this blog too. 

Expect the kids writing their hearts and minds on the pages. There will be stories from their own concept, stories about our travels, jokes that they've made up, anything and everything. Maskipap, whatever, hakuna matata. There would be no limit... I wanted them to enjoy writing. 

This will be a busy blog from now on :)

bacolod - city of smiles

Bacolod is indeed the City of Smiles. This is how we felt when we went there last March. Our main objective is to visit tatay's maternal grandmother and yet we accomplished more.


We left the house early, around 5 in the morning to catch our 9:00am flight for Bacolod. We were just in time for the check-in when we got to the airport. The check-in line was not so friendly when we got there. Good thing the kids were cooperative. 


We got out of Bacolod Airport at around 11:30. Our friend Herla was already outside when I called her up. The travel to Bacolod from Silay was a breeze. The traffic was smooth though rain was pouring as we traveled. We got to our our hotel in less than an hour of travel. We stayed at Check Inn Hotel, which was very accessible to downtown and SM itself. 


We rested for a while before going out and checking SM City Bacolod. The kids slept while I unpacked their things. The first thing we did at SM was to eat at McDo :) and later on, we explored their mall. Since we were all tired, we went back to the hotel early and ended the night before 10pm.

enchanted kingdom

The first time we went to Enchanted Kingdom, it was just nanay and tatay enjoying the place. That was on October 29, 2007. They were celebrating their anniversary that time. From then on, they made it sure that they visit the theme park again from time to time. I guess with their love for EK, they chose to live near the place too :)
