bacolod - city of smiles

Bacolod is indeed the City of Smiles. This is how we felt when we went there last March. Our main objective is to visit tatay's maternal grandmother and yet we accomplished more.


We left the house early, around 5 in the morning to catch our 9:00am flight for Bacolod. We were just in time for the check-in when we got to the airport. The check-in line was not so friendly when we got there. Good thing the kids were cooperative. 


We got out of Bacolod Airport at around 11:30. Our friend Herla was already outside when I called her up. The travel to Bacolod from Silay was a breeze. The traffic was smooth though rain was pouring as we traveled. We got to our our hotel in less than an hour of travel. We stayed at Check Inn Hotel, which was very accessible to downtown and SM itself. 


We rested for a while before going out and checking SM City Bacolod. The kids slept while I unpacked their things. The first thing we did at SM was to eat at McDo :) and later on, we explored their mall. Since we were all tired, we went back to the hotel early and ended the night before 10pm.

enchanted kingdom

The first time we went to Enchanted Kingdom, it was just nanay and tatay enjoying the place. That was on October 29, 2007. They were celebrating their anniversary that time. From then on, they made it sure that they visit the theme park again from time to time. I guess with their love for EK, they chose to live near the place too :)
